My experience, kind of biased.

I installed my APS TT myself with a friend who knows his way around cars better then 99% of the population. The kit was EXTREMELY EASY to put in. It took us about 32 hours over Thanksgiving weekend and the only issue we had was a misthreaded fuel regulator housing, which we simply rethreaded. Peter from APS was great and answered all my questions within a few hours of PM'ing him. The kit looks beautiful. At the same time I added Plenum and Exhaust, and on the stock tune from APS, I just dynoed at 399whp/375wtq. Not bad for 8.7psi at afr of 10.1 (FATTY PIG RICH). I use my Z as a complete daily driver with no 2nd car. I have added about 6K miles since install, been to the drag strip once, and regularly RAG THE HELL OUT OF MY CAR.

No issues.

HAHAHA, very funny, just honestly sharing my experience. Had to change my name from love2ridepow because this forum does not like to send new passwords when you forget them

I will agree that APS customer service needs some "tough love"..
Also, If your going to advetise PM's services on this forum, why dont you have them become sponsors and stop attempting to take business away from PAYING vendors/Sponsors via PM..
Ummmm Yea I've personally witnessed APS customer service, we will leave at that... And PM is a paying sponsor on this site.... No I have not owned any APS product... Never said I did...

Hoping not to be perceived as an APS fanboy here, but they do maintain a variety of FI products much beyond that of JWT. JWT, if I am correct, is a local entity that specializes mainly in Nissan/Datsun/Infinity products. It stands to reason that their customer service/warranty would be more competitive.

Consider APS has FI applications for Subaru WRX/STi, Nissan 200SX, 350Z, Infiniti G35, Mitsubishi EVO VII, VIII, Holden (GTO), Falcon Typhoon, XR6, BOSS, and the Corvette. I think the critics are somewhat short-sighted in this regard...

APS also maintains a presence on many non-Z forums, so it seems unreasonable, at least IMO, to expect Peter or anyone else to cater immediately to any requests or inquiries. That was a little difficult for me to stomach initially when I had my APS woes, but I coordinated my efforts with a local APS shop and things went well.

I wish I could say I've ridden in either an APS or JWT Z... I can vouch for APS quality and fitment - I'm nearing the 30,000 FI'd mile-mark on my Z. To date, there's no local JWT cars to substantiate durability and longevity, but that's soon to change according to our local forum. APS is a large and well-funded company, and JWT is 30+ year Nissan-friendly company: it's a crapshoot.

That's true though the APS system is more comprehensive than the JWT system and includes a real fuel system. I guess you get what you pay for, both will provide a substantial power improvement over stock though the APS system provides higher power potential before requiring turbos to be replaced.

George
oil pan spacer rather than replacement oil pan:

the awkward and sharp angles the piping takes out of the FMIC

Replacement of the washer resevoir with a smaller one - how do you go about filling it? - I would assume your retain the stock filler?
also in this pic, your impact beam is bent?

also don't like the idea of running stock injectors, having to buy a boost controller 3rd party or the split second box EMS on the JWT. You address those things and I think the JWT is viable kit.

The postioning of the maf is a nice move based on the type of tuning they run

I know there is less chance of oil starvation to the oil pick up with a spacer than a PE style Pan. As far as oil cooling, is best addressed through a oil cooler.

The APS Air Air Charge on both side has to make a 90 degree turn up the cooling veins and then when it hits the colector it has to make another sharp 80-90 degree turn before it exits...

The JWT Twin IC the charge enters @ 0 degrees and exits @ 0 degrees before it makes an angled turn....

And you say the JWT IC set up is awkward.... OK that is your oppinion... Untill both are bench tested side by side it is hard to say which one is more efficient at what boost levels....

As far as turbos, I feel the JWT 530bb turbos are more suited for street / semi Track (side to side track) car goals....

Oh and yes you fill your wiper fluid the way it is normally done.

And yea there is a ding in my bumper.... Nice Stab, but that's OK that's what everyone expects from you Ziv...

As far as the JWT Fuel system it works, And time will defiantly tell won't it...

oh, good one, you got me there

Seriously though, from those pics, the JWT setup is not as high quality as I was lead to believe. Does that mean it doesn't work?? Not by any means.

the whole turbo sizing thing is a little bit over exagerated IMO. Greddy, APS, and JWT TT setups are going to have very little lag - basically no noticable lag. I like things about all the kits and dislike things about all the kits. Yes even things about the APS IMO, the whole quck spooling turbos for crazy down low torque isn't necessarily a selling point to everyone. Traction becomes a serious issue with any of the TT setups on the market, and like I said, all the kits have very little lag.

You all can choose the setup you think is best. Just get all the facts rather than buying into hype

It's cool. I don't even have a bumper brace. Not that it matters.....that bumper brace is there for collisions under 5mph. You think that brace is going soften the impact on a 60mph collision? I can't tell you the last time I drove 5mph especially after installing my TT kit.

Running strong and very fast. I get a little scared sometimes cause I am always on it. I don't think any motor can take the abuse I am giving this car. I filled my tank up yesteray during lunch I am going to have to fill it up again on my way home today. I got like 200 miles out yesterday's tank. It's is 60 miles rount trip from my house to work and I went out to lunch yesterday and ended up driving up on the down the freeway at 140+mph. On my way home after work yesterday I raced a STI and boosted RSX. I hope the novelty wears of soon so I stop driving like this.

BTW, how did you get that ding in the bumper brace? It looks like the bumper was dropped during the install or something. If it gets dinged like that after dropping what do you think a collision will do to it?
