I think Oleg was saying that since all the kits are fairly well designed, then the major difference between them would be the installer/tuner.

Thank you. That's exactly what I have meant. There are way too many success stories on the forum for any of the TT's, and I can't say that anyone is more successful then others. At this point it is stupid to say that kit X is better then kit Y. So now it is all upto the installer/tuner to create the difference between make-it or break-it.

yeah if you have a really knowledgable installer who just flat out knows the Z, he can install probably any kit you throw at him.

The big difference is when he gets something mounted and either leaves it or says "hmm this is ok I guess, but if I redid it this way and did this to it, it'd be a little bit better in the long run"

It's not uncommon for good installers to make their own brackets, remount things in different locations than the directions especially when the car already has aftermarket stuff that the kit wasn't designed with. Thermowrapping is also your friend for wrapping little things here and there to prevent rubbing or heat etc
