What exhaust gas temps are you guys running at with your FI? I started this thread over on another forum and it turned into a debate on where your probe should be. So how about what your EGTs are at idel, cruise and WOT, what FI set up and where you have your probe.

 

Idle....never paid attention to it
cruise....590 to 630 C. depending on load
WOT at redline .....795 C.

 

Sh!# now I have to convert that to F.

crusing = 900-1000F
WOT = 1200-1300F

My probe is located a couple inches away from the turbo on the downpipe

 

See the only thing about comparing is...its no good unless every one that posts , have thier probe in the same place . ANd Im sure we all dont .

Mine is 1.5 inches from exhaust port

My numbers are close to Maximums

 

the highest I've seen mine is 1450F.

 

Heres a shot of my EGT highlighted to give you an idea where its located.

 

At idle, not sure
Cruising at 70-80mph=1200
Wot= I've seen it as high as 1350.
Mines located in the exhaust test pipe right next to the exhaust manifold.

 

Well unfortunately it depends on where the probe is located. Mine is in my feed pipe. Idle 400-500 Cruise 600-800 WOT 900-1100
