Its definatly in there. Its about the same size as another fuel pump, which is about average size for a fuel filter. And no, its not serviceable. It doesnt really need to be, since the entire assembly is only $250 from nissan including a fresh new pump, level sensor, etc etc.

The reason its not replaceable is because it doesnt need to be in a returnless fuel system. The chances that enough smaller micron contaminants would ever get in the system to actually clog the filter are next to nothing... especially on a returnless car where the fuel only flows OUT.

On a high performance vehicle that is regularly serviced its definatly a good idea to run an inline filter. Surely APS could toss in a nice inline filter with no troubles.

Particles small enough to make it thru the fuel pump pickup screen are still large enough to get in the fuel injectors and block an oriface or prevent proper operation. An imbalance caused by blockage in a fuel injector could be fatal to a high performance engine.

That would be ideal for sure and it would be perfect if the new inline filter was fully serviceable as all filters get dirty/partially blocked over time.

You think it's like Michael and Latoya Jackson, where you never see the two of them in the same room?

Hey, here's a movie idea: Peter and George, the story of two lonely, conflicted turbo experts with a secret. We'll call it Melbourne Mountain. Oh, sorry, I guess that's already been done

still working on the tune. ran into a couple issues/delays.

Found a boost leak this morning. As of 10 minutes ago, I was told he was at 495 with 2 more lbs of boost to go

All I wanted out of this was a cleaner tune, more consistent boost control, and no boost taper. Didn't want more than 510-520 whp so that is what I am being tuned to.

You could have made that much hp with phunk's fuel system.
