its really like this. alot of people talk and say you are an ******* and im sure you know that, i doubt ive just stated something you havent heard. but people come to you because they know you are one of the best tuners out there.
some people say im an ******* but everyone knows i sell cars cheaper than anyone out there.
i dont sell them to make big profits on them. i just move metal.

john, I never asked anything about the price or what the ems comes with, because I have read these posts and already knew that. All I was asking was WHERE and HOW to buy it. And all I wanted was a polite response. There have been a few nice people on here trying to help. I dont understand how me asking how and where to buy offended you so bad and gave reason for you to get the attitude.

ok, it took me about 30 minutes to read through this whole thread and unfortunately haven't gotten my answer....
I was about to order the Fcon vpro which has a list price of $1395....not 4k (http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=1965) as previously stated which is a very good price for what it does BUT you can't progrm it yourself and I agree even though I don't want to tune my car myself but there are moments I want to be able to change a few things or at a minumum log my runs to have an idea on how the car reacts at the track.
I love the EMS, the software is good and when I saw this thread I got very happy...of course paying double the price of the Fcon is not good...and there are quite a few people here using it with great success.
Now is anyone using this EMS yet? Does it hold up with what it promises.
My doubts are not the EMS but the fact that it's not officially endorsed by AEM.
So any updates on this?

It's not really double the price of the fcon. Once you add up all the things to make the fcon work like the AEM does, it's pretty close, if not dead even.
If you go fcon, you need the unit itself, map sensor, air intake sensor, harnesses, and knock amp if you want target a/f and knock feedback, which all comes to a little over 3k. The AEM includes all of this in their $3k intro price, plus a base map. The only kicker is they have to install it.
I'm really interested in this as well, and I'd be willing to sell my fcon for it. Does anyone have any more info?
