Default AEM EMS Now available for 350Z

We have been working in conjunction with AEM in developing a plug and play AEM EMS kit for the 350Z. We are pleased to announce that we finally have the kit finished.

The kit will be completely plug and play. It will come with everything you need to get your car up and running!

Parts included are:

AEM EMS
AEM Map Sensor kit
AEM Air intake temp sensor kit
AEM Water temp sensor kit
AEM Wide Band Uego Gauge
SP-350 Wire Harness
Base Map

This setup will give you complete control of fuel and timing and we are currently working on the variable valve timing also.

The factory computer will remain to control the DBW, trac control.....etc.

I will have pricing together later today!

if you're worried about cost, you're not in the market for comprehensive engine management systems.

Price is relative though, you can't say oh we'll price it at 10k when the next competitor is priced at 5k and does the same thing -_-

AEM EMS's have traditionally been glitchy for awhile until the firmware has been updated a few times though right?

Thats true...if they price is higher then the Fcon I think most people are going to be prone to purchase that. Its been proven to work and work well. Not saying the EMS is not worth it as it most certainly is. But its not giving you anything the Fcon isn't. IMHO AEM should just get the variable valve timing under control and find a reliable control system for the drive by wire and make it plug and play. Otherwise its just the Fcon by another name. One question though, does the AEM EMS provide targe AFR based auto-tuning?

It probably will be more expensive than the FCON. Notice it includes the AEM wideband gauge and a couple of other goodies. But i may be wrong.

How much does the FCON complete go for?

You can't compare the AEM EMS to an Fcon.....the Fcon has no where near the capabilities as the AEM. Plus...you can tune the AEM yourself, you aren't stuck with taking it to a specific dealer to get any tweaking done.

Sound Performance - Welcome to the forum.

It would be respectful to the other forum vendors if you became one before you started posting pricing...

Good work Larry and Jason.

What you have completed is going to have a massive impact on the 350z/G35 community. Just like the AEM EMS has done for many vehicles... I expect to see the bar raise very rapidly over the next year due to the freedom of tuning that is now offered to the public.

Now once the community sorts out the headgasket issues publicly, there is no excuse to not make Supra power out of this engine.

Not to mention, I love to see made in America businesses get the $$$... too much money around here is floating away overseas.

Will I be able to take the 350z AEM EMS to an already experienced AEM tuner with other cars and have them be able to use this, or is it a completely different tuning interface etc..?

Website we can go to concerning purchase/info of this? (I tried looking on AEM's site to see if they mentioned anything but didn't find anything)

Since you guys worked with AEM - I assume that this isn't going to be a direct clone of an AEM EMS for other cars to the Z - What kind of features can we look foward to this opposed to a AEM EMS direct from AEM (standalone) - or say the Emanage/FCON/UTEC that's currently out in the market for the Z? Obviously it's not standlaone but what are the pro's/con's of it? Sell it to us - give us some fluff
