I plan on getting the GReddy kit shortly. Now I know it comes with E-manage Blue and (from what I understand) a pre-made tune for 6 psi, to run is "safely" as they put it. I plan on getting a Walbro 255lph Fuel pump right away with the kit as well, but I won't have the cash for the AAM return fuel system right away.
Would it be safe to leave the kit at the 6 psi with the E-manage Blue tune, and the Walbro installed for a few months ? I know it won't make much more than maybe 330whp, but thats fine with me. I'm just curious about the safety.
Thanks

t0 run it safely you need to buy the ignition harness which cost $45. You need this so you can retard the timing other wise you will be running the kit on the OEM timing. I would recommend you get the ignition harness and get the car custom tuned.

Ok, so does it come with a tune already on it? Or not?
I don't mind getting it tuned. I just wanna know if it'll be safe as is with the walbro for a month or two.

Yes the stock kit does come with a tune however it will run the rich for safety precautions. The factory fuel pump can handle a stock greddy TT kit you don't really need the walbro unless you are looking for higher whp #'s
400whp+ with the ignition harness as well.

Hey Metal,
Glad to see that your considering getting the fuel return system - I think as long as you keep the tune conservative and don't try to run out the system you should be fine with the walboro - but once your ready for more power - then you should totally get the fuel system and possibly a UTEC for engine management. We find that the UTEC is 100% better then the Emanage for forced induction!

Yeah, I was planning on going from the kit + Walbro... to the UTEC + Return fuel kit + aqua mist (think bigbri's setup for stock block power) to make 500ish whp.
But I simply won't have the cash for anything beyond the tt kit and walbro up front.
So I can get around 400whp with the walbro and a decent tune? That's awesome. Thanks guys. I dunno if I'll run 400... maybe 370 to be safe. I want the motor to last haha.

yeah i would keep it safe until you have all the parts to push it - but even at 500 whp your challenging the integrity of the internals -

Yeah I plan on challenging the stock block quite a bit
I think if bigbri could do 500whp on 91 octane with a TT + aquamist and a Unichip. A UTEC, aquamist and 93 octane could do the same. But alas, this will all come later this summer.
