Stillen Stage 4 no power gain
yeah for 300whp
I'm not making 300whp. That'd be more like a 65whp gain
I'm just talking ballpark, not like exactly 50whp on the dot. And we don't know how Doug's dyno and climate differs from where I am

Tells me how much you really know about the VQ. It has been out since 1994 in a 1995 Maxima VQ. I have owned every variation of the VQ to date. I also have prototyped many mods and tested many mods on the different VQs. They basically all have the same design of internals and all react the same way to mods in their own way. I have a bit more experience than most people here including yourself with this engine.

I figured my Z wouldn't be that dramatically different stock. I think people generally consider it a 50whp gain regardless though - especially on a dyno day where you have other bone stock cars dynoing the same day within 30 min of your dyno
Um it said in plain english in the article - and LOOK AT THE DYNO
http://www.sportzmagazine.com/images...tech_Chart.gif
they said it was detonating and jerking back and forth on the dyno. Enough said
right, I don't have a base dyno, therefore I must have gained 0whp and = the suckage
you just sealed your fate right there - get ready for many people to disagree with you who have done it also or even higher - Doug @ Crawford I'm sure can disagree with you...but I don't know if we're all up to the challenge of disputing your 10 years of VQ knowledge - as if all the VQ's are the VQ35 which didn't come out until like 5-6 years ago

What is this spreadsheet about? It is definitely not a comparison between ATI/Stillen/Vortech...

Out of the box kits.
ATI vs Stillen vs Vortech. All same dyno, same day, same test procedure and conditions. Stillen made the most MEAN power which is the most important thing when talking about who will win a race.

I added a couple vortech "stages" to that chart
stage 1 is stock kit, stock car
stage 2 is bigger fuel pump and 440 injectors with 3.12 pulley, etc
stage 3 adds return fuel system and 550 injectors with 2.87 pulley, etc
I even added in a turbonetics 402whp dyno
it's at least ballpark - they weren't all on the same dyno on the same day but it's at least an approximation. Every car is going to be different anyway and running different exhausts or cams or whatever
does anyone have any stage 1 or 2 stillen dynos? I'm suspecting stillen stage 1 would be 195hp/250tq mean and stage 2 would probably be around 215hp/270tq since all the stillen graphs I've seen basically look the same just raised up higher or lower

G35-TX is right , no way the NA 350z can make that kind of power (Maximum 30 whp), and as i said before Stillen stage 1 only is faster than any NA bolts on. i cannot understand the ego of some guys overhere (who really need to do some serious growing up) claiming more than 450whp with 9lbs of boost on their turbo kit while the manufacturer himself claims less than 400whp.So far all the people who contradicted me and asked for proof, proof , did not give any themselves, all they know when cornered is to reply with some lame insult ... ive got 14 years old kids that are more polite.
And by the way, my Stillen stage 4 is more responsive to my friends Vortech especially at low rpm..we did not try them yet but my car feels faster.... Stillen curve has more area under it over the entire rpm range .

right, that's why we believe you, because you provide proof of everything you say.

you notice you're the only one we do this **** to? because you're useless and make baseless claims.

I have a timeslip I can a) take a pic of, or b) scan, to prove my 12.5 1/4 mile time. You have nothing to prove anything you've said.
