Stillen Stage 4 no power gain
My stage 3, 5 AT trap at 108.7 on street tires.
My stage 3's best 1/4 is 13.08. on street tires at I 41 speedway indiana on 300rwhp. Have added the following mods since my last time at the track
June 24 Ontario Z club of Canada Drag day with slicks, weld 13x3.5 front rims, pro torque converter with line lock and 10 lb boost pulley. ( maybe a ported blower) and every other mod that you can think off it will eat any N/A at the track. It should go 12.3 or better with 350 RWHP.
Will post my times June 25. All times will be certified by the Ontario Z club of Canada and posted in ZED LINE. It will be the quickist 5 AT. Stillen in Canada.

Z Eliminator good luck next time out, your the only one I know currently repping the kit.
Nateg35-Im sorry I wasnt trying to down the Stillen, like I said there is a kit for everybody I just hate seeing Stillen owners bash NA Z owners-like Dr.G has been doing poast couple od days with BS 12.8 comments and 10+ car lengths thats crap. Having good success with NA myself I will stand up for it when I see comments like this. I was sucked in what can I say...apologies to all nice Stillen owners.

Ok i've read this thread with much amusement and some irritation at the attitude some you guys are dishing out.
I've got a G35 Sedan 5AT with the Stillen Stage 3.
Now, if i'm at a track and I get beat by a NA Z with bolt ons, so be it. I'd be fairly confident in saying that money spent on building a NA Z/G to dish out times that Alberto has would roughly be in the same neighborhood as a stillen SC give or take a few Gs.
Funny, I haven't taken my car to the 1/4 strip yet but then again I don't need a timeslip to provide me gratification with the mods that I have made to my car. The Stillen SC provides plenty of low end and mid range power. YES, top end power is not as good as some of the other kits, but it doesn't mean is a POS either. Its by no means in the same league as my stage 5+ 300zx twin turbo was, but then again its really NOT that far behind either when you take everyday driving satisfaction and fun.
Alberto, your generalization about Stillen SC owners is in all honesty simply generalizations. I drive a 4 door sedan that will spank many cars out there, maybe not yours. And if a NA Z with bolt ons beats a Stillen car, then I give that car/driver/owner props for doing so.
Relax and enjoy, i'm sure this bickering back and forth is confusing lots of people who are looking for FI options. Keep in mind not everyone lives for the quarter mile.

You're right on the REV limiter, but I assumed that you wouldn't raise your rev limiter on a Stillen, why would you ?

I'm about to say it
Alberto, thanks for the good words. I have never driven the stillen on slicks yet and will be very carefull the first time out. I must tell you guys that i changed my gears to 3.53 from 3.3. I have the factory set rev limiter but it will hold 6800 in 3rd. I have to shift into 4th on a stage 3 set up. with my new mods i expect it to be close to the limiter in 4th but there is no way it will have to go to 5th gear in the MM. On 3.3 gear i pulled 252 km or 156.49 mile per hour racing a modified mustag on the highway one night. It was a good race but 233 km i pulled him hard and left him sitting. To tell the whole story we hit it a 80 km. Only did this once and will never do it again! The car felt great at 252 but i now take it to the track where it is safe to race. My Z flys but for some reason my ECU runs rich and i am running a 8.5 lb of boost on 94 octane with a 6 lb stillen piggy back box. Mine is a 2003 Z. I have spoke to stillen about this many times and can not wait to put the new 8 lb box with the bigger injecter and a 10lb pulley.
At the drag meet in june there a 2 turbo Z coming ( 6 MT ) May the best car win and we then will see what the stillen will do for remember these turbos have all the toys and it will be a good comparison to see how the cars stack up to each other, There will be no excuses that day and the time slips will be the proof who is quicker. I will put my money on the stillen. If I get beat, then you shake the mans hand and congratulate him for " we all drive Z's and thats all what counts".

I really wish I could get my hands on a Stage 2 or 3 Stillen Z-6MT of course. I know they pull hard midrange beacuse Ive seen a guy on here run 12.8 @ 105mph-thats a nice launch and midrange, I think I could squeeze a tenth or two out of that set-up...I will give the Stillen 1 thing over all FI kits-maybe Im just a sucker for it but I love the roots blower whine, sounds so sweet.
Here is a sound clip I took of a friends G for anybody that hasnt heard a Stillen---> http://videos.streetfire.net/video/0...3056E08BB9.htm
