Default Help,boost,belt or injector issues?

I have a Vortec superchargec zr.My issue is that when I am rapidly accelerating through the gears at high revs(5-6g), the car seems to bog. I thought it might be the anti slip but it was off. It allmost feels like not enough gas,the pulling stops. Maby the belt slipping? It only does this when I am going for it, not on regular driving.

Few questions

1-does the belt squeel at start ? in th morning or sitting along time ?

2- what is your A/F at the rpms your talking about ?

3- Has it been tuned lately ?

4- Have you checked the plugs ?

might be that the plugs are fouled out. I have a procharger and it squeals a little bit in the morning, but once it warms up, it will grab. so i dont think that it would be the serpentine belt slipping.

Sometimes when I start up in the am the belt or pully really squeels. Eventually it goes away. The car only has 6500mi. I am brining in for appointment in a couple of weeks. My a/f gageis a defi and doesn't really work. As far as my plugs I am having them checked. Could it be my injectors not large enough?

I would first start with tightening up the belt . But with out a working A/F gauge . I wouldnt boost it at all . You have no idea what the A/F could be running at .
My GUESS , is that your belt is slipping alot up top and your running so pig rich that its bogging you down .

Do you have a boost gauge ? If so...whats the boost read at 5000 to 6000rpm ? when it bogs down

it could be that you are running rich at high end because belt is slipping , but very unlikely because you should hear the belt slip , and the fuel supply is regulated with the boost anyways, so even if belt slips your fuel is regulated accordingly , but then again it could be.It could also be the opposite, not enough fuel , so you can check injectors if big enough and fuel pump if properly working. personally i would first tighten belts, then check plugs (which i feel is the problem) , then check pressure on fuel pump.

The fuel preasure is regulated by boost . But that doesnt mean really any thing here . If he is only making 4 or 5 psi between 5000 and 6000rpm . In stead of 7 or 8psi . The tune will be way off and maybe the cell in the map is a [10 ] instead of a [8] like it would be if he was making full boost . What Im saying is ...the piggy back maybe telling the injectors to stay open alot longer , because it isnt in the right area if the map .

could be true, it depends if info to injectors is based on rpm not on MAF.

If you have seen a R4 map . You know thaey are based on both . There maybe different numbers [ duty cycle ] at 7psi @ 5000rpm...than 7 psi and 6000rpm . You need to consider both all thru the map

Well I just took car for a run. The car didn't bog but my defi boost gauge says that I am putting out only 5-6lbs of boost. I have had car dyno'd twice and was putting down 376rwhp. Is that possible or is my gauge wrong?

Your belt is slipping , or you have a boost leak . With the belt squeeling at cold start up . I would think slipage is the problem . And can only make 5 or 6psi and taking your tune out of the normal area of the map . Tighten the belt
