I have done my research and the prices vary so much b/c some are in car clubs and get insaine discounts, others are actual sponsors, and some utilize used parts......I want brand new, obviously the best deal i can find, but i don't "have a hook up" nor am I in a club (other than this website)....lastly I appreciate everyone s input

Mike B's build is carefully chronicled in the Project Double Down threads on this website, and in addition is gracing six pages of this month's edition of Modified Magazine.
My car build is set forth in seven chapters on the FA site, with lots of pictures, here: http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthre...t=&Board=UBB25
Again, take your time, think about what you want to do, and have that derive from how you are going to drive your car etc. If you are going to track the car, this might sound like heresy......I would spend all $15k on handling mods and skip the TT entirely. Because that car with the handling mods would beat the same car with the TT and none of the handling mods on a race track all day along and every day of the year, same driver etc.
If, on the other hand, you are going to keep the car on the street and just want the awesome power of the TT, then maybe the TT only is fine. There is no right or wrong answer here, just what it is that you are looking for and going to be satisfied with as much as possible. The educational part is to be sure you get that right. Then building it is not such an issue. The more you know, the better your choices and long term satisfaction will be.
And yes. I LOVE my VRT car. Look for it on the cover of the next issue of Sport Z Magazine. And in a day or so, look for a video of a gray G35 Coupe on big Enkeis and fat Nitto rubber (315 rear!), with some special front adjustable upper control arms, smoking some big time exotics at WSIR with a lap time of..........Nah...you won't believe it here. You are going to have to watch when the link comes up. And I guarantee that you will watch it more than once.

^^^I encourage EVERYBODY to read Eagle1's threads on his build on FreshAlloy.com. They are VERY VERY VERY informative and very knowlegable. I will take a long time to get through all 7 chapters, but it is well worth it. He explains every step of the process.
The thread on my car was more about the car as a whole than the engine build and VRT stuff and a lot less educational lol.
