Ah yes, the work does have a way of getting into the equation. I often find myself deliberately scheduling redeye flights just to be able to squeeze in a track day that I would otherwise be missing because I was on some commercial flight burning a hole in the sky betweet the states of Tedium and Apathy.
Fortunately, if it turns out that you have to work weekends all the time and have a staggered schedule, such that you get a day off at the beginning or end of the week instead of the weekend itself, some of the track days are held on Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday as well. If this is just one of those things where it is an occasional weekend, there are more this season to come anyway. Just check the schedules in California and Nevada for Trackmasters-Racing, SpeedVentures, and Redline, and perhaps something will fit with your calendar. Then just send an inquiry out to some of the folks and see if they are running that event, and you can hook up a ride with them.
I will not likely run in July and August, so I only have a few more weeks to go before the summertime break. It just gets too hot to be fun for me. The car can take it, but wearing three layer nomex and changing tires and wheels etc., saps some of my enthusiasm.

No my white G did not dyno, but we ran the grey G. at only 18 psi, instead of 20-24 psi. (trying not to exceed the dyno's limits) But it errored out (spinning the tires at 120mph'ish in 5th gear) the last readable number was like 697 tq. (before the error code poped up) Then it ran again with a more conservative 609whp. Kinda fun....

Hi Sharif.... What we saw was:
The first run that over clocked the Stillen Dyno was in 6th . Why 6th is beyond me. The spike was near 700. No sign of detonation. The operators then tighten the hold down straps.
The captured run at 609wrhp, 618 Torque ( I don't have my notes with me,,) was "An operator issue" the car never hit the limiter, but probaly "operator backed off" - I'll have to re-run my video clip. Yes the normal blue smoke for 2 seconds.
I counted the car was in 4th gear.. but I may be wrong. But I have a video clip to count the gears.
Any way the Stillen dyno was ( IMHO ) not the right test bed for such a "powerful" car. Yes the Dyno is out in the parking lot and didn't sound as free as the one out in the San Fernando Valley. P.S. No air fuel ratio. Older Dyno...
Old Buddy, After witnessing MrAturbo's - Drive from San Diego.. Put the car on the rack Cold, and then go to Speed. It make a real impression to a doubting crowd of all Nissan types. I would be curious to know what Fuel was in the car.. 100 - calif unleaded oxiginated 96 motor is what I though. It didn't have the No Cat Smell. What was suggested that the fuel pump was run at 18 Volts. And no return fuel lines as my ( Fading ) memory re-calls.
My guess-ta-mate is the car was capable of 740rwhp out at your facilities.
The car is to be featured in one of the Sports Compact/ D-Sport type magizines soon. All will be told. Dave-O from SportZmagazine was there..
All though he didn't push to the front to see the LCD display, was watching
with a knowing eye.
MiaPlayer of TN fame was suitably impressed to congratulate Mike, Bob and crew of the VRT Team. I do need to speak to Mike in the future, and straighten out my parocial lambasting I gave him when he first blurted out on "Our" My350z forums.
Heh , Heh

Cheers Amy

P.S. The street tires he used were well balanced... Hunter 9700 unit no doubt.
