Default Looking for a Tuner for my JWT TT

I am doing some work on my car and I am going to need some tuning.

I am looking for a great tuner within an 8 hour drive of where I am (Virginia).

I have contacted Sharif and MRC, but wanted to see who else there is out here.

Thanks,
John

What do you use for EMS?

To me you are very close to Sharif@Forged and he his reputation speaks for itself.

Along with AAM in MD seem to be popular.

I would probably go to Vinny/Nick at performance motorsports in LI.. thats about 8 hours and they have alot of experience with JWT and the splitsecond box. www.theexperience.com

Total Est. Time: 7 hours, 46 minutes
Total Est. Distance: 411.06 miles

I have heard to many mixed reviews about AAM that is why I am hesitant about using them. They are by far much closer than Sharif or MRC. I will wait for more feedback and then make a decision.

I may also switch to a Utec if I can get the $$$ for it together.

Aren't JWT kits coming standard with Split Second boxes when 2 years ago JWT themselves said they wouldn't work?

I don't believe Performance Motorsports has the software to tune the split second box yet. Last I checked they were still waiting on it. I got my JWT kit installed there. When I called MRC Motorsports they told me they couldn't tune it either. If I'm wrong, please correct me, as I would like to get mine tuned too. My back bumper is turned black, which means I'm running very rich right?

the software is just the split second R4 program. Most tuners have it available.

My tune is still perfect, just I am going to be adding breathing mods and a few other things so I will need a new tune.

I wish I had that kind of money to find out. I would also go with the SVR 3" exhaust if that were the case

VRT is going to take care of the tune.

Thanks for all of your responses and input though.
