I know it was posted a lot before.. but havn't seen it recently.. just lookin for a general update. I know a lot of people blow vq's pushing Fi motors.. but this is aimed at the guys with conservative tunes who wanted a little extra punch. im still on the fence. My car is daily driven though..35 miles to work and 35 back.. nothing but 91-93 oct.. so 350rwhp is PLENTY for me.. i still have a 500rwhp s30 to keep me busy when i really want to have fun. Na is good but Id like the extra kick but the s30 is enough work.. i dont want to have to rebuild the z33 after 2 months of driving with boost. soo.. anyone take a kit out the box.. install it with a safe tune and leave it alone.. how long has it been perfectly fine.. or how long did it take to blow up?

 

and before anyone starts yelling.. i know tuning is key.. id probably have sharif do it.. im just curious on how far people have gotten who have played it safe... ie didnt have any wierd/abnormal circumstances.

 

20k miles last tune was at 402 RWHP on a Mustang Dyno.

 

20 k mile 18 k on turbo currently boosting 11.5 psi with water/methanol injection

 

45K.

5K on TT's.

 

25K total, 12K on APS TT. No problem, daily driven. 450rwhp on Dynojet.

 

55k, 27k on APS TT kit with 400whp or more the whole time. Daily driver for the most part.

 

22k + 5k TN ST
