BTW, are those 295's you got on right now smooth like those last ones you had? Because if they are, that IS a SCARY ride, at 500whp it was like woah(wheelspin)... You'd probably be better off with some KDW II's like I got in 305's lol.

 

Naw man they have thread left..and they still spin like crazy...I may get the rim extended to 10.5 and put a 315 DR....And if I put on anything other than DRs on there they will spin into 6th gear...They would have to be 345 or larger "normal" tires to stand a chance..good luck fitting 345's on a Z..so I figure 315Dr's should do the trick....

 

Even with the 3.3 FD your getting that much wheelspin. This weekend i mad a run to the store and the PS2's are gripping really well when its hot out and with the 3.3 FD for me. For you, man you might need a 25 or 50lb rice sack in your spare tire area.

Anyway, awesome #'s. I love my 490 whp.. can't wait to get my 700+ sometime soon. Should make for some interesting runs. I assume you are running the cometic gasket, 1/2" ARP head bolts to help prevent headlift? Did you by any chance cryo or heat treat your new engine? I figure that to give some additional structural toughness to the parts and the heat treatment to give a longer part life..?

Will you be running this boost level all the time, or do you have a ‘street map’ for say like 13 PSI for more normal driving. I can’t imagine driving around like that all the time. I would have 3 different boost settings 1 stock (5 – 7 PSI), 1 medium (10 – 15 PSI) and 1 for race (22 – 24 PSI on race fuel).
