this is pretty much his slip. I guess i havent figured out what his 1/8 et is, but just from his conversation with us, this is what the 11.7 run should look like.

I'm looking for all the numbers, not just the general breakdown of the slip. I like plugging these things into Cartest2000 and playing with them to see what the car is really capable of, and for that I need more detailed #s.

That is accurate. You have to have the whole footprint of the tire down. There are also other suspension mods you can do, but then it isn't great for other applications. It is pretty much just a drag car.

I haven't read this first 6 pages of this, but slicks slicks slicks...you should be cutting a 1.6 with that kinda power and while the slicks may "feel" more wobbly up the track, you might be a tad bit safer.

That's about half the slip.

This thread would rock if we had a slip, vid, and a dyno chart...

Exactly why you read the thread...the "slicks" issues has been beaten to death and you're wrong.

Hey Bri, congrats hitting 11s on a wild ride down the strip! Get some more contact from those DRs down on the pavement and you will be tearing it up!

How often do you get new DRs? Just curious...

From the amount of research I've done, I'd have to say stick with the BFG's if your choice is between the two.

Brian, if you need new dr's go with the M/T e.t. streets (best dr out there IMO). As you know I have the Nitto's right now and while they are better than the old Bfg comp t/a's...the Mickey Thompson's are the way to go.

Tonight some freeway roll-on's?

Goodluck getting traction. I find with my G 600 WHP is my limit in roadracing.

Don't even try to launch it from a dig...

Have fun and be safe.

I actually read that people were liking the BFGs better than the M/T....I dunno but I need to tires before the 7th...because I just looked at the BFG's and the are almost bald...

I have 295 BFGs right now, and I love them. No traction issues whatsoever. I wouldn't get the nittos 1 because I couldn't get the size that I want and 2 because they aren't as sticky as the BFGs. Sure they last longer...but I could give a $hit about tire life...I just want something that works.
