Hey bros sorry to bug you guys. Anyways Heres my problem I just had PE TT installed with the following... RC 550 injectors, AAM fuel kit, clutch, 255 fuel pump, Greddy EU, e-01 boost controller, AF guage ect... Its was boosting 9 on the dyno but on the street it hit 9.9psi. It starts knocking somewhere after 6000 sometimes around 4000 and sometimes after I shift and sometimes its fine. The stock ECU is pulling some hard timmingwhen this happens. It put down 456rwhp, but today I went back because it was just not pulling to red line without some drama happening. They retuned it to 430rwhp its better but it still knocks a bit? My Greddy EU does not have the UTEC knock control feature, do you guys think that would solve the problem?? Yeah I am new to the tunning bit so bare with me.. Zimbo if you read this did you upgrade the actuator springs on these turbos?

Hmmm..........Well when i first had my TT installed I had your same issue until went to a different tuner recommended by Shariff and problem fixed. At the time I had the EU as well and he was able t fix the knocking.

 

Well guess what? On tuesday Mr UTEC is going on and Mr Shariff is tunning it. So I think it will all work it self out on Tuesday night. Cross those fingers.

If you wanna know if its the tune...go to the local race shop get some 109 unleaded, put in 3 gallons and fill about 3/4th of your tank up with pump....tell me if it happends again...
