if its one thing i know about installing and tuning turbo charged Z... go with the shop that has the most experience...

you will sleep better a night going with VRT than toying with the phone book or "my cousin's uncle's brother's best friend's shop"

if you were on the East Coast.. then i would suggest someone else.. but for Vegas people.. its either VRT or a couple places in TX.. VRT has proven themselves time and time again so far.. when you drive your car you should feel confident it has been tuned and installed properly..

i would say 90% of blown up Z's were due to installer/tuner error.. don't play with your engine that way..

that suggestion on an east coast shop isn't that they are better than VRT.. i just feel you have more options on the east coast

VRT did my G Mike Bs Z and another club Z is on the way. I'm very happy with the result. Let me know if you ever want to ride along and see how you like it. We've got a little Vegas forum over at Z driver. Pop in and introduce yourself.

I would recommend GT Motorsports in So Cal. The shop is very impressive with latest machining equipment, courteous and professional staff, in-house dyno, major distributor for countless aftermarket manufacturers and SAM, the owner/tuner stands by his work.

Good luck with your project.

Theres also Danzio Performance in Lake Eslinore. They've done a few Gs and Zs and also have inhouse fab and dynos. They can tune anything you can think of and do excellent work. Reference JLinquests post on his Z as well as keeptrying, and meatshackle..

I would go with VRT man, I have heard so many good things about them, and they know what they are doing just make the trip.

There are absolutely NO shops for ANYTHING in Vegas that I would trust. I have had plenty of bad experiences with the Z and my Chevelle with shops in Vegas. High paying casino jobs take away the good mechanics, so we all go elsewhere for whatever we can't do ourselves. We have a small number of F/I 350Zs, & G35s here in Vegas...

Me - JWT TT 350Z & Stillen SC G35 installed and tuned by VRT in San Diego, CA

roneski - JWT TT G35 installed and tuned by VRT in San Diego, CA

dirtroad - APS ST 350Z installed and tuned by DynoComp in Arizona somewhere.

Love2ridepow - APS TT 350Z. I don't know where he got his done, but he moved here from Utah with the kit already installed.

Z35TH - JWT TT 350Z in the process of being installed and tuned at VRT in San Diego, CA

VegasEdge (ZDriver.com) - Stillen SC 350Z. I don't know where he got his installed either.

Local (not on the forums) - Greddy TT 350Z Installed and tuned at LDL Speedshop in Las Vegas, NV. They did a good job, but its only tuned at 5 psi and they have a 3 month waiting list. This was also their first and only time installing F/I on a VQ. You could wait it out with them if you want, but at 5 psi its hard to tell if the really did a good job or not since thats not stressing the motor very much. They have a good reputaition with the Honda guys though.

mraturbo - Who is the 5th Vegas car you did?

Vegas is going to need it's own VRT satellite shop (for tweaks and upgrades, not breakdowns).

Hey Robert! I didn't know you were on here. Well, it looks like you don't come over here too much, but its good to see you on here nonetheless.
