Default Turbo timer and problem with AC

I just installed the Blitz DCIV TT installed. Now whenever I start the car, my AC comes on in full blast in automatic mode @ 75 degrees. Anyone know why?

$20 says you accidentally forgot to reconnect the harness for your AC controls...its right behind the panel. Its a white ribbon cable.

But I can still control the functions of the fan/ac and the modes.

Behind which panel? Right underneath the fan control panel? If so, I didn't touch that area... Only worked underneath the steering column and the driver side fuse box.

Could it be possible that I used the power wire leading to the fan/ac controls? It was a red abiut 14 gauge wire underneath the steering column that I tapped into.

Its possible but unlikely......maybe a blown fuse of some sort....Theres a lot of wires down there and if you used the solid red wire that is larger then all the others it should have had no affect on the AC. Thats what I used...

What are the temps inside and outside the car? Is the car directly in the sun?

If it is warmer than 75 degrees inside the car then the automatic temp control will control the temp blend door and the blower speed to get the inside temperature of the car to the temp setting on the dial. Especially if the car is heat soaked in the sun. Inside temperatures of the car can be 100 degrees or more depending on sun load and how long it has been sitting. So the car is just trying to cool itself down as quickly as possible. Mine does this and usually within a few minutes the blower will slow down.

Hope this helps,
Tony

Interesting.... I don't ever remember this happening though... I'll go turn my car on later at night where it's below 75 degrees.
