today we install SGP VB for 2005 350z with procharger, but when we test the car,,,,when it shift from 1 to 2 you can feel there is hit from the gear box, like the car jump,,,but we can feel the car strong,,,

so is it normal that when it shift 1-2 the car jump or you feel there is hit in your gear box,,,,

the one i have it is not making this hit,,,,,

Yes at low rpm's...the 1st to 2nd shift is very hard and bangs the rear end . Ive learned to find the right rpms to get it to shift to be less harsh . around 2300rpm's .

Booger are you having any problems with the 2nd to 3rd shift(in manual mode).Mine will shift into 3rd hard, then slip for a split second and then reengage.I have no problems with any other shift. They all shift hard and fast except the one mentioned. This only happens when I manually shift, when in full auto mode it works fine.Called SGP and they said no one else has called them about this problem so they didn't have an answer which makes me not a happy customer.Any help is appreciated

No...all sifts are hard and fast . My guess is your clutch packs for 3rd are going out ... just a guess

I thought that might be the problem too..but Mark at SGP said that if it was the clutch packs it would slip in full auto mode as well.
Thanks
P.S...I'm not trying to hijack this thread, just thought other SGP VB guys would chime in.
