i know that you are just thrown numbers/percentages out there, but an 80% success rate is truly awful!!!! at that rate, you'd have so much negativity spread about a product that sales would drop faster than you could even think about it!!!

Those are obviously NOT the real numbers. I'm just asking the question.

Well....my AC just blows out hot air today. I heat wrapped all the pipes though(after the turbo was in). Have to paid extra $300 to get it wrapped. But it doesn't save the AC line. Now I have to pay more money to get the AC line out.Don't know what's wrong...hope the AC line didn't got burn or something.

If you truly think that any form of FI is, or was ever intended to be, "fool proof" then you have no business on these forums.

As far as the AC line is concerned, one thing I believe is/would be useful is to include a larger metal band that is used to tether the AC to the block in order to keep it away from the down pipe. This, and possibly having one dipped in a plastic coating to avoid it chafing and rupturing the line, should keep it from contacting the pipe in any way, thus avoiding direct exposure to heat and friction.

For those that are having issues, I'll agree that it is a pain. You just either need to do it yourself and take all the necessary precautions, or take it to an installer who has any sort of mechanical ingenuity.

Summit sells custom braided AC line with fittings that would allow you to route the AC line by a different path. That would surely cure the chaffing problem and the heat problem.
