Exclamation made some power... aps tt 18psi, VERY conservative timing

well, here it is, aps tt, tuned with the UTEC with very conservative timing
I changed my mind/goals on what I wanted out of my car, so after many hours of hard work, I pulled the motor, changed the cams (Scott's Performance) and swapped turbo kits....wehhhhh!
running 101 octane and 50/50 water methanol injection

This is the LOW BOOST setting, my boost controller was acting up, so I stopped at 18psi...I will run a higher boost number od 22-23psi and see what we can do

94 degrees out as well!

dynojet with no smoothing...pretty damn smooth graph
thanks to Sharif and Sam for your on phone guidance and tutoring of the UTEC!!!

Smile Great AFRatio

Excelent results..

Just fantastic..

When the tempature comes down.. Expect the results to increase..

That UTEC is doing a great job.

Cheers Amy -

Congrats on your 600+ hp. Get some vids up. I hardly see anyone with that much HP record some spirited driving.

Nice, Todd!

If you don't mind me asking, why did you swap turbo kits?

how much timing are you talking about when saying very conservative?

No offense but conservative is a very changeable term from one person to other.

sure, i understand...

to give you an idea...I originally tuned with 11 degrees of timing advance follwoing the torque peak, carried that out to redline...
I made 580whp and around 620tq...I added 1 degree of timing, so a 12 degree advance and picked up 20 hp and 20tq....

Because of the temps and time I had already spent on the dyno, I decided to finish this process after I figure my boost controller out, I will lean out the AFR to approx 11.8:1 (it richened up on the street, more load, richer afr)...and I plan to run approx 14-15 degrees of timing up top (I am running 101 octane and methanol injection) ...

so, with this same boost, I should be able to make about 40 more hp and tq...with 22-23psi, I will be well into 700's

plenum spacer...possibly with a more aggressive plenum and more timing towards redline, the power may not drop off...

I upgraded the greddy turbos to make tons of peak power...I was originally planning on 700-800 with room to go, I chnaged my mind, don't want to go that high with the power, the situations worked out and I picked up an aps kit

lots of torque, builds very quickly, as you can see in the graph, over 220w tq in lessthan 1000rpm's!!!
