Default have any FI guys switched to the REVUP plenum?

I am curious if anyone has tried switching the upper manifold to the revup manifold to see the difference. maybe in an F/I application, you could pick up big gains. maybe?!?!

With the Revup plenum being larger than the standard lower plenum I figured under boost it would flow more. When I swapped mine out and did dyno testing my car didnt make any power. Almost tuned completely I was going from 400whp to high 370's, and I lost low end TQ, AND my TQ fell off MUCH harder up top. I would hit 300ft/lbs @ 3000rpm's with the Revup Id hit 300ft/lbs @ 3600rpm's. On my car, and I believe Cheston with the PE TT also tested it and found it not to work.

thanks alberto.

I have a revup with the motordyne mrev2 on it. when I put the turbo on, I wasn't sure if I should stay with the mrev2 or go back to the stock revup plenum.

I was curious to see if the revup plenum worked well on the standard engines when under boost. if so, that would've made the decision easier......

No problem-you would think the Revup would work better but it wasnt the case on my car. NA Revups gain great midrange power with standard lower plenums and a spacer compared to their stock plenums + spacer. Seems to be the case with standards trying their plenums. I have only heard of a few people, and they seemed to be NA who have liked the revup plenum on the standard motor. If I were you Id stay with the MREV2. Buddy of mine has a Revup TN Z, who runs MREV2 also, he will be dynoing this Thursday so Im really gonna pay close attention to his powerband compared to mine.
