Default More Power Please!!!

Hey guys, im beggining to think that there is nothing more for me to do without spending a crapload of money on a built motor. I currently have a APS ST with exhaust / APS plenum / tilton clutch/flywheel / and tuned it during winter at XX tuning (forgot the numbers but it was ~380hp). I wanted to know, is there ANYTHING i can do for more power other then a built motor? i have a Snow Performance kit sitting in my garage but will this ADD any power or will it just make my car more safe? If you have any input as to what i can do please put me in the right direction!

thnx

ps- my car seems to be running slower then it used to....prob bcuz of the heat. Would a retune be neccessary?

Probly not slower your just used to it now. the WI kit will let you run a bit more aggressive but is 30hp worth an engine? I had a aps st for a bit and my friends c6 seemed so much faster. We raced a couple times and I would win but the single did not seem to pull until 50plus mph.

You can always have them retune your car to be a little more agressive. Have you thought about swapping your ST out and putting in a TT setup? It may run you a couple grand but will easily give you 450whp on near the same boost.

everything you said is correct but he will also be running a greater risk of blowing his engine.

look man, if you want more power, you're going to have to spend money for a built motor. if you don't do it right the first time, you will end up spending money in the long run for repairs. just save up for a few months and do everything at once.

A couple grand!? Price of a new turbo kit, uninstall of the st and install of the tt will be a LOT more than a couple grand. I thought about it and decided it would be more cost effective to go the route i did since i already bought the st kit. i did cams and utec. the cams gave me about 30whp and the utec allows me to run c-16 whenever i like and still run 420whp on 93octane. pm me i you have any specific questions about the kit.
