Default Thank you MRC

Just wanted to thank all the guys at MRC for doing my turbonetics install. Julian suggested to put in a exhaust dump due to the fact that my borla exhaust was very restrictive. and WOW what a difference, car sounds like an animal. we gained around 20 horsepower with the dump. My car is making 375 whp at about 9 psi. New mods include: TN ST - UTEC - APS feul return - 440 cc injectors - JWT clutch/flywheel/oil pan spacer - crawford plenum. Thank Guys...........

Good deal. I'm actually planning on doing almost the same thing (but a little different).

The install looks good. But, is it just me or do the welds on the dump pipe look like poop? I'm probably just being ****, so it should be just fine.

I'm surprised that the Borla exhaust would be that "restrictive" running only 9psi/375whp. I remember someone (ZPHATZ I think) running one and having overboost issues, so I assumed it was pretty free-flowing.

Now, lets get some sound clips.

Where does the dump get patched in? Before or after the cats? And do you worry about flames shooting out of there heating up the underside?

the dump was cut from its original piping and was welded directly to the TN piping... i dont think i have to worry about flames because it points downward.. 375 is the corrected number.

Yup! I'm running the Borla and overboost to 9.5 - 10 psi. Wonder how the open dump would sounds? Congrat on the TN kit....you will really enjoy it. My setup also net me 370WHP/370 WTQ on a Dyno Dynamic.

Well, that being said, are you having any overboost issues, Vantage? I'd assume with that open cutout that overboost would definitely show if it was a problem with the design of the system.

no overboosting at all. I hit full boost about a little over 9psi than it drops to 8.5psi
