Default Non-Stillen Hoods for Stillen SC

Are there any non-Stillen (better looking) hoods that allow the Stillen SC to fit? Tx

LOL i was just like you about 4 months ago wanting the stillen but didnt like the hood. Just go turbo, I Know it sound like im just acting like one of the guys that say just go turbo... turbo .....turbo...., but i have had them all roots style superchargers, N20, and turbo and now twin turbo and i can say that turbo are much better. Although i like a nice roots style blower the hood sucks for are cars but on the G's it look pretty good. Find a good tuner and start trying to find your goals first then your budget and finally hats in your area.

I'm not sure if the power enterprise, kanimari, or do-luck hoods will clear the blower but you might check them out.

The Kaminari looks like it may work, don't know how you would know unless you tried, would look a millions times better though.

No other hood out will clear the stillen blower. The blower needs a lot of clearance, not just for the blower unit itself, but for the black manifold as well as the intake's mouth/port that attaches to the rear of the blower. That would be a lot of clearance and a wide area to clear under any hood. Trust me, i've looked into this as well, before I went SC hehehehe.

The Stillen hood looks great. It is an acquired taste. I never understood why someone whould wnat a two tone car just to save weight. Aside from the gap between the bumper it looks fine. It reminds me of the old musle cars that had the cowl hood. I would not get different hood, I am looking to get thier front bumper when I get home.

From my research over the past few weeks, only the 2 hoods offered by Stillen will clear the SC. Nobody else has bothered to manufacture one due to low # of potential customers. Bummer.

The hoods aren't great but they're not terrible. At least on a SB they aren't so bad. Lighter colors like white might look a bit weird.

I for one do not mind the looks of the Stillen (SC clearing) hoods for the Z and the G. But I agree it is an acquired taste, once you get used to the way a car with one on looks, it looks kinda plain when the stock hood goes back on.

Yes, he (Mike S.'s ) Vision619 did opt to leave his CF Stillen hood on even after we removed his SC. Here is Mike S.'s (Vision619) car that we JWT TT'ed, and my G with the Stillen hoods along with a couple more of our cars with them on, I think they look pretty good.

I really want Mikes hood without the black edges like mine has!

Looks like everyone at VRT likes stillen hoods, lips and bumpers!
