Default APS TT install done / first impressions

Don at Hybrid Connection in Buffalo NY did an absolutely FANTASTIC job putting together my car - when you can get under the hood / under the car and say "wow, I'm **** as heck and that's how _I_ would have done it" it's a good thing. We have a tiny oil leak issue to find/resovle but overall everything is absolutely MINT.

While doing the APS TT kit I installed bigger injectors than the kit ones, the AAM fuel return system/rails/lines/regulator, APS downpipes, plenum and strut tower brace, as well as an oil cooler - oil temps stay VERY low. I also put in 3 Defi gauges, Oil Temp, Boost and EGT.

Mike at Innovative Tuning (also Buffalo) dealt with injector sizing and put a nice base map and tuned it so I could break in the new engine (JE / Eagle / ARP) - I've gotten about 90mi on it so far - so good! I'm running wastegate spring pressure, and haven't gone past about 4-5 PSI and it's still just exhillerating (also haven't gone past about 75-80% throttle, as I've been trying to vary gears, throttle, rpm, and load as much as possible.

Anyway, for those looking to do this, FYI it's a long arduous PITA but if you have a spare oh, 17-25k+ it's well worth it - I've long debated, would I have been happier just selling the Z and buying a new Z06 or 987 or Cayman etc, but I've got a huge smile on my face right now so that says otherwise to me

Hybrid is indeed an authorized dealer. The quality of their work was incredible, and it's not unique, I've see them work on a number of EVOs and a couple of other Zs and STis (they also do a lot of honda/nissan stuff and dabble in VW).

Are you still running the Unichip, or is this an APS TT tuner kit.

Welcome to the APS TT club!
What oil temps are you running?
I peak at about 240 F without an oil cooler but outside temp above 90 F.
Much hotter than Rochester - I lived there for 4 years.
Any pics of oil cooler location?

It's the non-tuner (full) kit but we installed a UTEC instead of the UniChip. My oil temps are super-low, I have yet to see over 180F (in the pan) - but then again it's been 60-80F here tops (chilly this week). I'll see if I can't take some pictures of the cooler location, it's nothing super-sneaky or anything, just tucked up in front of the upper-right corner of the IC behind the opening of the bumper...

I had to say it lol, I want to see pics of the oil cooler position. Mine is tucked up on top of my intercooler right above the opening, it does get air just not A HUGE amount.
