Dont even bother. It'll be just as loud as normal test pipes. HFC if you want quieter..

Not true FOR A FACT. When i first had my turbos, i had the RT cats. Then I went with resonated test pipes, and they were ALOT quiter.

Perhaps. RT cats are known for falling apart because of their material, which can cause loud noises while decelerating and accelerating.
Bit for bit, i've had both resonated and non-resonated, the biggest difference in 'loudness' is the resonator, muffler and exhaust setup. HFC vs HFC all sound practically the same, and resonated TP vs non-resonated sound almost the same. Tone changes, but loudness is the same..
On the side note, i wouldnt pay more than 250 for a used set of labrees, however, you can buy the UTR resonated for 250 new..

XBS,

I have a set of Labree HFC's for sale locally if you're interested. Very low mileage. $300 and they have the extra bungs for running a wideband on each one. These will do more for quietness than resonated test pipes but give similar HP

I wouldnt even bother with used. I would just get the UTR's and call it a day. USN HM is running those on his TT, like symphony to ones ears!
