Enough gayness, Id say keep this on topic, but everything has been discussed already.

Finally-back on topic. I sold it to a friend of mine, who in turn took his car back to stock and sold it again.

Congrats on the build, awesome car
Thanks

Thats good to hear, back from the dead!

edit-may as well give anybody interested an update on this car. Have around 3000 miles on the motor, still running dino oil will soon put in this nice Motul Ive had here staring at me forever. Car is still running nasty fast, the new tranny is doing well, but not as good as expected for the "smooth" 009 version, the 1-2 shift is 50/50 very notchy or adequate. It has gotten better though so hopefully it will loosen up some. In these crazy temps low boost feels like high and high boost feels too insane for the streets, was spinning in 4th the other night. Ive been highly contemplating doing a 3.3FD because with that and a 7000rpm redline (Im at 7400) I can hit 129mph in 4th-which should be good for low boost's trap speed. Also, ever since I installed the new tranny I have never and have no plans to ever powershift this car again.

Thats good to hear man. I don't blame you for not wanting to powershift anymore. No more murdering parts

^__^ LMAO... yea that's right, and I am a 6' 2", professional firearms instructor and weapons specialist... As long as I see him first and keep him more then 6 feet away, it's all good

Bert and I are friends. I was just saying it will be good to get together one of these days. My car spends too much time in the shop and I have not been able to catch up with him since he got his car back.

Im 50/50 on this 3.3 FD. Part of me wants to redo my suspension to a softer set-up, and raise the car again and try to dial in more positive camber and run better compound tires-even then I see a 285/295 rear tire not hooking up until 3rd. Other part of me says screw it, 70mph in 2nd and 130mph in 4th @ only 7000rpm's would be nice and much closer to Supra's gearing (with the 3.3 FD), but I dont want the lower peak numbers on the dyno. Then again what good is power if you cant put it down...decisions, decisions....I actually have a source for a 3.3 FD who has one now we could swap.

Brent-one of these days we'll catch up down at the Glory Days or something
