interesting, my axle was on the right side as well... i just switche dto the quaife lsd 3.3, what rear end are you running?

I snapped an axle (right side outer CV) when I ran my GReddy TT setup about a little over a year ago. Sux that it happened on the street I think 'berto is running the 3.3 FD, Nissan VLSD from AT.

I cant see your picks at work. Was it the driver or passenger side??

I have a passenger side axle at home, since i broke the driver side last year

Todd your the man. Mine seems to have snapped right before the inner CV joint or maybe even (I dont see this happeneing though) slid out of the CV joint-maybe the c-clip somehow came out.

Is a puller really necessary to "push" the DS out? Also does anybody know what size the axle nut is? I need to take tools up to where my car is as its not near my house. Thanks again Todd-for the info and the awesome deal on the axle...

The part number is listed above on the nutt. Call A nissan dealer and maybe they can tell you the exact size.

It's a REALLY easy job...just make sure you have an impact or a REALLY long breaker bar for the axle nut.

A 1 1/4" socket will work too. That's what I used since the auto parts didn't have any metric larger than 19mm . And yes, it takes quite a bit of torque to get that bolt loose!

My 4' long piece of rigid conduit aka breaker bar laughed in it's face
