Default Promised Pics of my Z

Hey guys...

Thought I would post a couple pics that were not in Sharif's Shop of the car.
Took these a few days ago at a local car show. I will be putting on some of the new Volk GT-S wheels with wider tires in the next few weeks to keep the power to the ground, not to mention these things have a 5" lip in the rear...

Update to the last posting as well (452hp DD stock block) ... I am already working on getting a motor put together to come out with in the spring. Shooting for 650whp with the stock 18g turbos. We will see what happens, looks like that is about the limit of the turbos before they are just being over worked. I figure I can get there with 18-20psi of boost. Stock sleeves, 8.6:1 CR, cams, and mild head work.

On with the pics, hope you guys like!

Black out the handles and doors. It would look insane on the yellow. Nice car!

Beautiful; I love the Nismo V2 and it looks great in yellow. What color on the wheels?

The new Volks are the Gunmetal with polished lip, same color scheme as what is on the car now. I wanted a wider rim to fit the 305s on, I have 10' now, the Volks are 10.5".

Yeah! your really going to need it. I kick myself for not buying wider tires, those 275 are a joke.

I would maybe paint the canards black.

Awesome looking, very clean. I agree that the canards would look better in black or even CF.

But it is definitely a hot ride!

Congrats!

jkenefic, stunning pics! You must come down to Chicago one of these days! What tire sizes are you running now?

Thanks for all of the complements guys! Glad you all like my taste...

I think I am going to switch the canards to carbon fiber if/when I get the wing, since the blade of the wing is carbon also. If not, I may have to take everyones advice and go satin black on the canards to match the center grill area...

275/35/19 Bridgestone RE050As I think I am going to stick with the same tire, just go with a 305/30/19 instead. Providing I won't rub on anything. If not 295 for sure.

^ If you are going with the GT-S, which offsets? If the aggressive offsets, you will rub and the tires will stick outside of the fender. Actually, I believe the conservative offset +28 will also be too wide for 305, 295 should work with that setup, but you might have to run some negative camber and cut/roll fenders.
