Dyno Dynamics because they are load based read lower than DJ's-UNLESS you add in BS corrections like most shops do. Sharif doesnt play that crap, he posts STD correction-meaning temp corrected only, no additional "Dynojet" corrections. For what its worth here are my numbers on his dyno and then a Dynojet down the street-both done in the same gear and within hours of each other.

13psi-489whp on DD/525whp on DJ
15psi-541whp on DD/580whp on DJ

His cars dyno lower but his cars are faster

Just a temperature correction won't make the dyno accurate. There has to be a temperature correction, altitude correction, and a barrometric pressure correction.

Comparing one dyno to another doesn't tell me how accurate they are. Which dyno comes closest to SAE manufacturers #'s?

What? Just a temp corection on the same day within hours of each other is about as accurate as it can get from dyno to dyno. When you get into altitude corrections-numbers start to get skewed, just look at the guys who dyno at 8000feet elevation claim 600whp (withan altitude correction) and come down to sea level and are no where near it. Both are accurate, most people like DJ's/are used to there numbers because they are the industry standard.

But I'm not talking dyno to dyno. I'm talking dyno to SAE.... the standard all cars are measured to.

Numbers don't start getting skewed. All cars can't be measured under the same conditions obviously. So to create a standard..... altitude, temp, and pressure corrections are added to even the playing field.

So the Dynojets take into account pressure temp, and altitude? Those values are corrected for on a Dynojet?

I thought the car was getting tuned by Sharif right now. Is Sharif in Florida or is QuadCam in Georgia?

for what is was going to cost me to rent dyno for half a day plus getting all the tweaking finalized, I decided to pay sharif. he's got plenty of experience on these cars and the price is right. additionally, I was running into more and more clutch slippage so I took your advice Robert. Sharif's guys are putting in an ACT Prolite and clutch manana.

.......and me.......I am chilling in a beautiful resort overlooking the golf course!

Quad.... if it's not too late tell Sharif to drop in an ATS twin carbon clutch. You absolutley won't regret this decision.

I am excited to see what sharif can do on Jet's setup. It is a nice car; i'm sure it'll lay down some numbers.

Damn, cant wait to see the numbers JET...I waiting on pins and needles to see what this kit is going to do on a build motor! Trying to decide whether or not to keep this kit and finally install it, or switch to a greddy...

Look forward to seeing the power curve...I know Sharif will do an excellent job!
