it should be interesting. I am 30 higher on Tq than HP, but then I am running a moded 287 plenum on a Revup.

Haha..I will let Jetpilot chime in with the commentary, but it made 456whp/493 trq at 13.5 psi. The power/trq curve looked very typical of the TN single turbo at high boost....but is still VERY fast.

The roads are really wet tonight, so I am doing some final road tuning tomorrow morning.

WOW!!!! That is big on this kit. How much of it do you think is the open gate and lack of mufflers ? and what about the headers? big help?

Does this mean a fairly flat HP graph over 5000 rpms?

Good work Sharif!

I wish it would hold...but it does not. It's the best I could do with the kit. There is so much more area under the car, so the car will still pull hard and fast...but either the new StageII kit, or a TT setup would be required to keep power up further in the band. Oh....remember to add about 7-12% to replicate a Dyno Jet number....so still making very good power/trq. Maybe Jet will decide to swing it by our local DynoJet prior to his drive home.

I think Jet will have a big smile on his face...once he has the chance to nail the throttle on dry roads.

damn respectable numbers for that turbo with that low CR engine at only 13.5psi, very efficient setup, very nice.

edit---after sharifs last post, holy crap, forgot that was uncorrected, so thats mid 500s, very VERY nice!

Good deal, might I ask when it begins to build boost and when it reaches 13.5psi?

he shoyuld the NX IC sprayer and runf ull meth on the injection kit and with those too combined he might hit 500 whp(on a dyno jet)... no problems since he has a build engine...
hell take it to VRT and you will be at around 510-520 whp hahha (OT jk)

from what i hear i guess 459 is a great numbers since the dyno reads "low"

I know Jet has a custom there any other modifications done to the kit as it is from stage 1(or call it custom 1.5 if you want)?

question ion this case the fact that his #s are 456whp/493 trq ... because the trq is higher is ther ea problem with restriction in his exhaust?
anythign else that an be done to unrestrict maybe at the headers area?

No where near 550whp on a Dynojet. I gained 60whp @ my power levels, if he did the same which I doubt hed be barely over 500whp. Not taking anything away from Jet/Sharif they did the best they could with the kit. Im sure that TQ kicking (midrange) in feels amazing and its faster than before so Im sure he will be happy. If not, he can see how the Stage 2 kit does and go from there. Congrats Jet! Id like to see the dyno graph

Nice. I'm still interested in seeing how this would compare to a kit running the same boost level but with factory manifolds (both power and spool). We may never know...

By my ricer math it would be around 515whp 557ft/lbs on the average dynojet. I understand this is by no means accurate, but it should be ballpark.
