Good luck with everything Bert.
As for towing, I have had mine done many times... A flatbed tow truck with some wood planks can safely pull you up onto the bed by the suspension arms. It just takes a little time and some finesse.

Moving on to auto-x next season, as I recently attended an event and caught some rides-its way better and faster than what I had always imagined. Time to put my suspension to use.
Break into 10's, reach your goal, get the slip, frame it and leave it for your grandkids...
I don't believe I have yet seen any 500whp Z's doing the autocross, good luck, hopefully your power level is is not excessive...

Alberto, did you say you were going to try to squeeze off one more pass before the end of the season, and where?

It will likely happen at Capitol Raceway, but if I can find a trailer as a backup, I'll drive 1.5 hours to the "nice" track-which would be Cecil County on the MD/DE line...

I am not doing the GTM gearset right now-no comment on that I will not be powershifting this tranny, but will be shifting "quick" lifting throttle. With a few Z's on the verge of running 10's I want to try to be the first full interior, street car (no fuel cell, roll cage, weight reduction, skinnies on the front-sorry Jeremy ) to do it. I only have 1 or 2 more track opportunities to do it before our season in MD is done so we'll see what happens. Pray for my axles

*For anybody looking for ANY Z parts, I want to recommend you a Z owner here in MD who owns a salvage yard. Jon found me a transmission in less than 1 hour, the price is better than anything on car-parts and the tranny is out of an 06' with 344 miles on it His SN is Gooey PM him if you need anything (tranny, axles, motors, whatever) Thanks again Jon!

Thanks for the good words! I hope this new tranny will last you a bit....and yes I can get just about any car parts you guys need weather its a 350z, a crown vic, or a bently ill find it, track it down, and have it shipped. If not ill just track it down to a local junkyard around your area and give you their #

Exclamation #4 just arrived!

Update again--->Jon just dropped off the tranny, it looks brand new, very clean. It has the nice CD009 sticker on the side, so it is the smooth as butter version Ive heard/read so much about. The more I think about it, Im just gonna install it, and drive the car and not track it in such a hurry. With only 349 miles Id say the tranny can use a nice easy break in, not a put it in the car and go drag race it kind of break in. Will post pics later. Thanks again Jon!

I'm very interested in how this transmission works for you. I've been in contact with Gooey and may go with one for my build in the spring. Give us a review asap.

I'll def keep you posted. I know Sharif loves this version of the tranny and he had the 007 before, the one in my car now is the 004 tranny from back in the day (04'), I remember driving his car his felt so much smoother. With no powershifting duties, and less harsh yet still quick shifting it should hold up a while. Ive also heard this tranny doesnt have that slight grind/hesitation when going 4th-5th that Ive had in all 3 of my tranny's so far. It developed into a definate grind for me on 2 of the 3 tranny's Ive had when shifting spirited into 5th. Anyways I'll report back...

yeah my car was towed a couple times when there was an issue with technosquare sending me the wrong ECU and my so my key wasn't synced up. They hooked onto my front arms and pulled the car up. I guess that's what they do to every car when they tow a car that's illegally parked etc
