I'm all ears, but I'd think that'd get an unbelievable amount of attention from this forum - most people would have heard about it. I could be wrong though

I think it was Injected that has the custom ST kit using a monster turbo and made like 600 something

it'll just be a short while and you'll see many ST Z's over 500whp

that dyno curve probably looks something like a supra dyno - no power until like 5000 rpms, and then it's HUGE

I don't think so, the VQ generates a good bit more torque than the 2jz

I'm just refering to how big the turbo would have to be which means more lag, but yeah you're right

really doesn't have to be all that big. a true 60-1 will make over 500whp. You have to remember the 60-1 in the TN kit and the GT35R in the APS kit are both smaller sized for better response, which prevents higher max power with higher boost settings

More like 725whp on low boost (23psi). I met Greg at SEMA and apparently he has something more in store for the car.

Whats-his-name on this forum made 500+ on his turbonetics kit with a t-66 turbocharger. The tune/powerband didn't look the best on it though. There are also some people over 500 from up north that don't post here. That's one thing that most people here don't get - most of the people that are really into building these cars could care less about the online forums and community. So sentry- don't start making ish up now...

I think I have the most powerful stock T4/60"1 Turbonetics turbo here @ 13.5psi and 456whp on 93 octane. And the powerband sucks! 500whp and the powerband would be even worse. Another turbocharger is needed. You can't do it so don't try.

I don't know why you have to be told so many times, but the powerband is bad on your turbo because it's a T3 turbine housing SEVERELY restricts flow.

it's a GT3582 if I remember correctly.

the 60-1 on the TN kit is slightly different because a typical 60-1 has a T4 turbine and housing while the one on the TN kit uses a stage v turbine and t3 housing

Not entirely true.

You could break 500whp with some aggressively timed cams. But why bother? You and others on here have been told repeatedly that you're trying to hammer a square peg in a round hole yet you seem to be intent on banging away at it.

Nothing more can be done with the OE Turbonetics turbo included in the kit. You will need to modify the exhaust housing /turbine to make power through the full powerband.

From what I recall they never released this exact info.
