I thought they were still offering a a ecu reflash becuase the UTEC could not raise the rev limiter and remove the topspeed limited?

good read, thanks.

and it's 'tuning' not 'tunning' right? you do that alot. also misspelled it in your ad in sport Z magazine

Please expound as to what your post has to do with the UTEC controling boost? P.S. I did not do my add, someone else did it, and I caught the spelling error and they corrected it on one but not on the other.
Back on topic please.

If your tuner has never used a UTEC before how hard will it be for them to set-up the Boost MAP??

I am the first person I believe to get a UTEC tuned in Hawaii

Very Easy, start with small numbers first and work your way up to a desired boost level. It is really easy.

Are you still using open-loop boost control on your cars, or have you tried the closed-loop option yet? any difference?

Thats a big assumption given all the 'bugs' they have in the software.

anyone have any idea what the thread size is on the TXS BCS. I assumed that the 3 ports were 1/8 NPT, but it does not appear to be a tapered pipe thread. I want to switch the nipple fittings to -4 AN fittings. It might be some other sort of pipe thread. is there such thing as metric pipe thread?

I sprayed my UTEC with RAID and the bugs left town.

How much did you use? Did you have to change the position of any of the dip switches before spraying? Did you use the 9v adapter thing that they included?

I think I found my answer. I have all sorts of different fittings......it appears to be 1/8PT, not 1/8NPT.......why do companies sell products to the US with threads cut for fittings we don't have!!!

I was able to order some 1/8PT male to 1/8npt female adapters, though.

the greddy RS BOV was the same way; I pulled the hat off of that one and tapped the threads to standard 1/8NPT fittings so I could add a -4AN stainless line to it.
