The piping is going to be asymmetrical cause it looks to be a single turbo kit. Im surprised they're testing it with the stock exhaust setup. Im sure with a highflowing Y pipe and midpipe and straight pipes, that setup should be almost lag free (like the current ST kits out)
sweet, but the exhaust tips will hopefully be different as they look to small for the bumper openings????
The tips due look small but the rear bumper is from a veilside version 3 bodykit....which has BIGGER openings than stock. So it would look fine on stock rear bumpers
Why wouldnt it be in the rear? Everybody gets down on these kits because they dont know any better. Many successful minimal lag STS kits on the market, what makes anybody think it wont work well on a Z when its released? Im waiting for results...
o i got faith, after seeing wut they did w/ the corvette, im just curious if there mounting the ic in the rear like how they did on the c6 or if its gonna b a fm setup w/ sum long *** piping.
all there intercoolers are in front or with none at all. i have yet to see a rear mount intercooler. unless you do a custom one and mount it in the trunk and cut through openings for the piping.
Someone with some skills could easily take a long aluminum pipe and have some aluminum strips tacked into it and some cooling fins tacked onto the outside and put it in the straight section on the passenger side to give some cooling effects.
