Here's what I found:

- The kit will be released soon.
- It IS chewing up clutches, that's why the delay
- They WILL be selling the kit, they are offering 500 bucks off for those who pre-order
- They ARE willing to work with me to setup a group buy if there is large interest
- They were going to send me a copy of the Dyno Chart yesterday, but didn't get it in time to(they called me to let me know it'd be a day late getting...that, to me, was impressive that he took the time to call and let me know)

Anyways...I like the idea of the STS...and pending the Dyno results...I might be down for one!
That's a pretty lame excuse for the supposed "delay". If they needed a clutch that will definitely hold, all they'd have to do is spend about 5 minutes on this forum and they'd have a bunch of options.

It's not an excuse...when it really is happening.
When i intially heard about the oem clutch not holding i wasnt surprised....but when they told me that the new upgraded one didnt hold I was impressed. This has all been research and development....when they are happy with their product.....i think we will be as well.

Check out their site and see the other cars/trucks they have done....amazing power and nice times

Im not sure why everyone is talking about turbo lag?!?!?! The car is hitting full boost before 3K at 7psi...hopefully the graph can be posted soon so that we can look at that instead of making assumptions.

Tearing up an aftermarket clutch @ 7psi is laughable....guys have run twin turbo setups well over 400whp for a while with a STOCK CLUTCH.

The only thing I can figure is that they are extensively loading the car on the dyno before the pull the artifically spool up the turbo so it doesn't look like it has as much lag as it does and all that artificial load at lower rpm is making the clutch slip.

An STS turbo setup will NEVER be as efficient or spool as quickly with a similiar sized turbo as conventional turbo setup. It's simple pyhsics.

Thanks for the input briguymax.....as soon as I get more info and the car I will be posting the specs and graphs here so that we can analyze it all better. I couldnt commet as easily as everyone else did when no one knows the turbo kit specs...turbo size, injector size, and what it actually is making on the dyno.

I dont think there will be much lag, atleast not as much from the ST kits. I can see this as being a cheaper solution to FI than TN ST kit. Most of the kits for the V8s, although they rock a bigger turbo (T67 in most cases), they hit max boost at 3300 RPM, which isnt bad.

Yeah, it would be nice to see some numbers, but I wouldnt mind getting this kit just to be different from everyone else while still making more power...and from the sounds of the other cars with STS kits on... a Z would sound nasty!

There is an individual on ls1gto.com who ran a high 10 on a maggie. A boosted 6.0L is a boosted 6.0L. What is your point?

Yeah. The TT was so powerful and torqy that it twisted the Chassis, so now they have to get a new Z to test it.

They run 13's stock. They can probably run 11's with just a cam swap and some basic bolt ons and a set of drag radials. It's a LS2 500hp is easy.

From all your posts sound like you want this kit to be so great that it just hurts.

WE will be installing and tuning an STS turbo kit within the next few weeks. We will do a full write up on it.. A remote mount turbo is more efficient than all you guy's think..Especially when you factor in the lack of bends and twisting piping in the other kits to make both exhausts reach the turbo flange..I think your all in for a pleasant surprise. We have seen their steet GTO that runs DEEP in the 9's on DR's and an STS turbo kit...Its awsome!!
