I am sorr for the delay in info. I just got off the phone with Rick....which is the Founder of STS turbo. I do not want to release any kind of unofficial info. But they will be updating their website very soon!!!

Again I am not making this up. I do own the car and as soon as I get pictures of the kit I will post them up....I actually have a few pictures of the vehicle at the shop but nothing to appealing....let me find them know

We might be doing one out here in NJ on a car soon..Waiting on Rick to get back to me with details.Looks like a promosing kit, depending on the retail price, it could be the next major F/I solution.

My car has made very VERY nice amounts of power....i unfortunately had to cut the project due to MY $$$$ situation....they were going to install a fuel return kit but i had to decline and i could not go further....put it like this....after the first dyno pull the OEM clutch was tossed out the window....they got a upgraded fidanza clutch and that has already been replaced...this kit is making more power than most if not all supercharger/single/ or TWIN TURBO set-ups.

Clutch being gone means nothing, grandma burning the clutch could kill it in a stock Z. That last part-well that remains to be seen and is def a bold statement. I hope it does good though, I like seeing variety in the FI Z community. Ive been watching this thread interested, any idea when dyno numbers/specs will be published?

The clutch cant hold the torque above 4-5psi...to answer your question about graphs....they are still at the final stages of tweaking it so they should be posted very soon! lol Again i dont work there... i am just a customer

I also understand that my statement is pretty bold....but when you see the dyno graph its very impressive none the less for a single snail

Well not everybody can provide the community with good examples of a set-ups potential. With a dyno graph we will have a great idea of what something like this could do down the 1/4 given good conditions and a good driver.

not to mention...it'll give a much better view of the greatly doubted part of the remote-located turbo...the turbo lag introduced. Who wants to drive a car that only has a small turbo, but lags like a car running a single HUGE turbo...not me...

Just an update...I went to the STS site...and as I figured, there was no info on the Z kit. So i submitted a request for more info on the kit. I gotta give them this...they have awesome customer support(well, sales support I guess). About an hour after I put in the email on their site, I got a call on my cell from one of their guys. Here's what I found:

- The kit will be released soon.
- It IS chewing up clutches, that's why the delay
- They WILL be selling the kit, they are offering 500 bucks off for those who pre-order
- They ARE willing to work with me to setup a group buy if there is large interest
- They were going to send me a copy of the Dyno Chart yesterday, but didn't get it in time to(they called me to let me know it'd be a day late getting...that, to me, was impressive that he took the time to call and let me know)

Anyways...I like the idea of the STS...and pending the Dyno results...I might be down for one!

I would think that there would be an increase in torque from this setup as compared to some other ones but that would be to increased backpressure.

Meh. My friend with a 05 Stang GT is going to get the STS setup I believe.

I'm still not convinced it's capable of anything big. Saying that it'll make more power than the current TT setups is a big statement as well.

I would think that the only benefit possible for big power is that a huge turbo will be more easily fitted then in the engine bay.
