Even though the SSV barley adds much HP up high, it did add some. However, it added atleast 10-15 ft lbs of torque in the midrange and low range, which I definatley felt when i had it. I got rid of it for something that mad power up top however. I kinda miss it. It wasnt even defective.

Whats an SSV? Due to the cost of the APS TT kit (which Fine Line Motorsports quoted me at $15k installed and tuned) I am now considering a Vortech s/c. A bit more in my price range and numbers seem pretty decent. Will running a vortech s/c and utec cause any problems? Are they compatible and will this make tuning easier and safe?

15,000 is about right for a TT setup plus install plus tune at a reputable shop. 7,000 grand would be like $7,000,000! for that amoun of money i would do like Farva on supertroopers and buy a car with wings that could fly away!

Not sure which reputable shop you are talking about but for basic TT kit install plus tune 10K-12K will be a good price. If a shop charged me for 15K for basic TT install and Tune then they are everything but reputable.

If the tune involves taking it up the ****, then $15k is just about right. If only I could find people willing to cough that up for a TT kit and tune.
