Wait a minute...you have a 35th Aniv? You don't need to mod the knuckle on 03-05's...just grind it down a little. The 06's need the knuckle mod because the steering rack is different than 03-05's, not because of the revup motor.

currently installing a an aps kit on an '06 Z. no way in hell you are gunna grind the knuckle and make this sucker fit and still have the nice features of things like a steerable car!!
think i found a pretty easy fix and will confirm in the next day or 2.
btw mrc- what the heck does the main bearings have to do with shimming the motor mounts up, lol?

Yea, just grinding down the knuckle won't work on 06's. You need to relocate the pinch bolt lower down on the knuckle. The knuckle won't be pretty when you're done but it'll have sufficient clamping force. I've got over 5k miles on my frankenstein knuckle without any problems. I also had to shim the LHS of the motor as well.
