I never heard one before.. so it'd be good if you can describe the noise level and the tone compare to the raptor.
I had the Raptor on my TN set-up and now I have the RFL on my Greddy set-up. I like both, but I absolutely love the wooossshhh of the RFL. Blowing off at around 9-10psi the RFL is way louder and wosshes more than the Raptor-at 13-15psi its just nasty. All personal preference....

The ROFL works well with Alberto's setup because he's running 13-15PSI... With the TN setup.. I'm a bit afraid of the our 8-10psi not working with the bov.

Any BOV will work with the right tension spring in there. Sound is a different story though. Tim from SpeedForce has a Turbonetics Godzilla BOV on his car and even at 11-13 PSI of boost it barely makes any noise when it blows off. The valve is operating fine but its a 50mm BOV. You need a LOT more airflow then that to make it really loud...

How much work is involved and how loud is it compared to the raptor? I would like something a little louder than the raptor..

For some reason, the HKS sounds awesome on the supra but when I had it on my STi, it became a little annoying and it wasn't that loud at all but on my brother's supra, when that thing blew off, my ears would hurt. lol

i'm going to replace the outlet of my BOV with a 29mm straight aluminum tube and see if it will replicate the sound of the Type-s...i will post up my findings

did you try the spring mod I posted for the RS? it adds alot more sound to the RS by letting more air pass through the valve before it shuts.

Yea it's a bit hard to replicate those insane sounds when we're only running 8-10psi lol.. those guys are all running like 15-30psi!!

Noahz are you welding and messing with the gunmetal finish on the pipes? That's the only thing i'm afraid of..
