24mpg on the 711 mile drive back from Forged. When driving hard I get 200 miles on a full tank of gas, so that equals 10mpg

Do it the old fashioned way, total number of miles / gallons of gas at fillup. Im pretty sure it throws it off. I get 18 mpg average with my bolt on mods w/o tune. Im sure with a tune it'll be a little better. I shift at 3k rpm, and i use 93. Ammaco 93 gets me 21 mpg average vs sunoco 94 which gets me 18. (slower burning?)

are you guys all going off the computer's readout? If so we need to make it somewhat scientific where everyone goes at a constant 75mph in top gear and reset that readout by holding the button. It'll take half a mile or so to recalculate

people with different final drives and auto or manual are going to get different results

As mentioned earlier, you can't go by the onboard readout if you've changed injectors, fuel pressure, using a piggyback, etc. you'll need to do the manual computation. I get 24mpg cruising at 65 - 70mph

i have no idea how to calculate highway mileage accurately then because it's not like you can measure precisely how much gas you've used over the course of 10 miles on the highway.

should be easy enough to calculate your average mpg though

This is a good hwy mpg test - fill up by letting the pump shut-off (no top off), drive 50 miles on the interstate (where you can maintain steady speed) turn around, go back to the same gas station, and using the same pump, fill up (no top off) then it's just math. You can shorten the distance driven but accuracy will suffer.
