Default Walbro install Question

So after reading a couple of threads about installing a walbro pump. Some had said that when installing it yoour suppose to drill a hole in the stock regulator, so your fuel pressure wont be too high. Is this true?

Also I dont remember which thread I read it on, but I found somthing simular about drilling it to .070 or somthing like that in this thread https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....+drill+install

Yes you have to drill out the stock fuel pressure regulator and siphon jet or you are going to see 70+ PSI of fuel pressure. I don't have the size the siphon jet needs to be drilled but the drilling of the stock regulator instructions are in the Turbonetics Stage 1 Intall Guide here:

Drill the siphon jet and the fuel regulator, you can crush it in a vice the but drilling is better.

Do both...the TN instructions have you remove the siphon jet but per phunk its better to drill out the siphon jet then remove it..

Hey guys, thanks for this thread and the others on this subject. Just installed my Stillen Stage 4 parts this past weekend, including a new Walbro 255 fuel pump. The TN ST instructions had great pics and helped ALOT!
