Well I was under the car a few days ago checking on my skidplate which was hanging low. When I pulled the skidplate off I noticed that the air filter for the APS kit had oil on it...does this mean I need to get a catch can, I have been driving like this for 5 months and have lately noticed a slight puff of smoke from the exhaust when I get on it but did not think much of it.

I searched and found that the smoke from the exhaust and the oil I found in the intake may be related, any advice would be appreciated.

 

I would suggest you get a catch can. Many people have notcied increased blowby through their PCV when going FI.

 

Yeah that's what I thought but it is always best to get a second, third or fourth opinion if you know what I mean.
