Default twin charging?

this may sound extremely extremely stupid, but would there be any benefits twincharging a z as opposed to twin turbos? maybe using a stillen s/c and turbonetics single turbo.

anything can technically be done. I saw a guy do that on an STI once. Well I didnt see personally but it was online. I guess if you want to make a project car and experiment for us we won't mind. For the money youd spend you coulda just went with a TT setup. I mean those guys are full boost at like 3200ish? Not much for lag i'd say.

i dunno though, you'd probably want a pretty big turbo otherwise you'll run the turbo out of its efficiency range right?

The Koenigsegg CCX uses twin Rotrex Superchargers.

I have no idea why they didn't just use a Turbo, but I really like Rotrex as a whole. If they made a twin charger unit, I'd seriously consider that as well.

I remember an engineer saying the NA car is already a handful and most people have trouble managing the throttle at low speeds and just spin out the tires instead.

So they thought the twin rotrex superchargers would be easier to work with down low and give a lot of power up high. I think there were some heat concerns too

Two options . . . one that builds boost proportionally to RPM . . . another one off of waste . . . . .

Hmmm I guess with today's Turbocharger technology the stuff they would use would probably see full boost by 2k rpms.

I guess you're right, two Centrifugal blowers would be easier to work with.

But there's nothing cooler than saying "TWIN TURBOS" imo hehe.
