Wouldn't say completely safe, but hopefully your tune is decent enough to handle it

2. Tig488 - i love the boost controler, thanks alot, and also love the plenum, i got painted flatblack..

3) a buddy of mine was traveling behind me, and i had gunned it on 3rd gear, and closer to redline i switched, next thing you know when i switched to 4th gear, big pluck flame came out the exhaust..
what happen their??
Unburnt fuel igniting. Can be a sign your tune is a bit rich. Nothing to worry about

Yeah, from his dyno graph, the A/F gets really rich towards the end, for added safety.

I'd be thrilled to have "only" 360whp right now

The heatshields near the turbo have very tight clearences. I am betting one of the shields is rattling on the underside of the car. I wouldn't put money into a damper for this issue as I doubt it would help at all. I would get your car up in the air and check clearences around the turbo, more specifically the heatshield that wraps the Y-pipe feed to the turbo. Extra attention is needed in shaping the shielding during install and is more than likely causing the noise

I fixed my rattle with an engine damper... BTW original said the noise is there when he turns... So, obviously pipe shields are not touching the body when the engine is not moving around...

I installed a kit and had the exact same issue on the first test drive. it was the sheildshield. brought it back, threw it up on the hoist and resolved it, no engine damper bought

I don't have the easy access to the lift like you.. and I didn't want to pay for the labor for removing the pipe and readjusting the shield... It's a pain in the a$$ to remove those pipes as you already know... So, my answer was the engine damper.. Different solutions for different people I guess...

put the car up on a set of ramps or jack stands. Crawl under the drivers side with a couple flat screw drivers and bend the shield away from the undercarriage of the car. No hoist or removing any pipes. Probably much easier, and obviously less money than installing a engine damper

Nice looking car. Can't really see the IC. Somewhat sleeper besides the visual mods.

And I think the only thing you will see with the kit is the intake-to-IC pipe If you can relocate the BOV on the APS ST you can have a nice sleeper
"Nope just an Intake"
