Default Oil Cooler Sandwich Plate Fitment with Upgraded Oil Pan

Looking to build my own oil cooler setup and have read most of the threads that I have found using the search function but one issue that I have not found is it possible to fit the sandwich plate and lines if you have an upgraded oil pan like the PE for example.

From what I can see is that the fittings to the plate will not clear the pan and since my turbo oil feed line comes out straight from the block I cannot rotate the lines to that side. (if that makes sense)

If anyone has a photo of a setup like this it would be appreciated.

Michael

Not sure what the upgraded pan has to do with the sandwich plate. I have a sandwich plate on mine with an oil cooler with no probs.

check the pics in this thread https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/155863-oil-and-power-steering-coolers-installed-56k-pwn3d.html

they are of a PE TT kit but I believe that the oil pan is about the same as the HKS tt pan.

arizzee, I came across this thread in the search but you will notice that the owner has 2 plates installed. One for the cooler and Greddy for the prob I believe. You will see in the image below that if I removed the greddy adapter the hoses will not clear the pan.

the sandwich adapter can be rotated up away from the oil pan if you dont want to run an oil cooler sensor adapter (aka Greddy) like i did.

it'll fit. just it'll be a tight fit. you'll have to play with the hose connectors.. that's just how i installed it.
