Default HELP! Burned a cat

Well not really a "cat" but my catalytic converter from Turbonetics..... I heard this funny rattling sound from underneath the car and I shaked the pipes a bit and noticed that the rattling sound is from the cat like if its broken inside ... wth??

and I think I got a hole from the engine bay to my exhaust pipes cuz Its really loud and it smells like a whole lot of gasoline coming from that area...

do I have too much pressure on the pipes? too much heat?? heeeeeelllp

Give Turbonetics a call. If you purchased the cat downpipe from them they will send you a new one..

Get a straight through pipe and reweld one further down. Its either too hot or too cold or you're running too rich. Im betting you're running too rich and fuel is fouling up the cat.

The law wants the cat and if not I wont get TUV on the car and its not street legal in germany.......

I have the TopSpeed Pro exhaust system right now....and I'm not building up pressure like It should 0,65bar ...and I dont really here any air intake sound ...

end of march I'll be back in the valley *near turbonetics *

should I take my ECU along and check if everthing is ok?

whats your AF Gauge say?

lots of things can affect the AF Mixture.. tempreture.. octane of gas.. damaged sensors.. lots of things can cause you to run rich

If I pedal to the metal..it goes down to 9,5 to 12ish.... and if I'm idle it jumps between 14 and 20...

it sounds high..but how can I change the mixture ? by UTEC only? or is there a other way...?

someone told me that I'm not getting enough air and I'm overheating

I was under the impression that german law didn't care about catalytic converters? Well, they'll love my test pipes then
