Default Vortech sounds

Got my Vortech supercharger installed last week and it makes this screeching sound from time to time. It usually happens right after I start my car, then it comes and goes. Does anybody have any input on this matter?

One of the guys at work mentioned it might be the belt also, I'll check it out tomorrow.

+1 Belt will stretch, so you might be tightening 2-3 times. I found it easier to cut a 2" circle in the plastic shield directly below the TP adjustment bolt Vs always having to remove the plastic shield.

Is it a screech or a whistle? My bypass valve whistled until I put a filter on it. Now it just makes the normal mechanical whine.

Definately need to tighten up the belt. I had the same sound during start up. Tightened it up and never had it again.
